Application of BIM technology in the convention center steel structure has won the first-class achievement in specialized application at the "Third Construction Industry BIM Competition" in Shanxi, China.

The Xiaheshi International Convention and Exhibition Center project covers nearly 1 million square meters of construction area, with indoor and outdoor net exhibition areas exceeding 120,000 square meters. It includes 7 exhibition halls, 2 multi-functional exhibition halls, 2 arc-shaped exhibition halls of 10,000 square meters each, and an outdoor exhibition hall, providing a huge exhibition area, strong load-bearing capacity, and high display space, fully meeting the usage needs of various exhibitions.

Upon completion, the project will effectively make up for the shortage of exhibition venue scale in Shanxi. Guided by "convention and exhibition +", it explores fields such as "convention and exhibition + commerce", "convention and exhibition + tourism", and "convention and exhibition + culture", promoting effective integration of convention and exhibition with commerce, tourism, and culture, extending the convention and exhibition industrial chain, attracting investment, and maximizing the leading role in driving the prosperity of regional logistics, wholesale, e-commerce, accommodation, catering, and other industries.
